Sessions Connect Terms & Privacy

This page contains two documents: the Terms of Service (the rules for using Sessions Connect) and the Privacy Policy (what we do with your information). Both are operated by Sessions Education, LLC ("Sessions," "we," "us"), based in Tampa, Florida. By creating an account and tapping "Agree & Continue," you confirm you have read and agree to both.

If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this is

Sessions Connect is an invite-only app for tattoo artists and industry suppliers. It includes features like Transmissions (the community feed), the Exchange (a marketplace), Guest Spots, Conventions, supplier profiles, and direct messages. These Terms govern your use of the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sessions Connect. The app is for working professionals in the tattoo industry, and access is by invitation only. By using the app, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the information on your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate details and keep them current. One person, one account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

4. Invites

Access is by invitation. You may receive an invite code based on your event history or earn the ability to invite others. Invite codes are for the people you intend to bring in, not for sale, resale, or public distribution. We may limit, pause, or revoke invites and codes if they are misused.

5. Community rules

Sessions Connect is a professional community built on respect. You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other members.

  • Post content that is illegal, hateful, or that you do not have the right to share.

  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property, including using artwork or photos that are not yours.

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.

  • Spam, scam, or send unsolicited bulk messages.

  • Scrape, copy, or harvest member information or content.

  • Interfere with the app, attempt to break its security, or access areas you are not authorized to use.

We can remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post (your posts, comments, photos, listings, and profile details). By posting it, you give Sessions a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content within the app so it works as intended (for example, showing your Transmissions in the feed or your listings in the Exchange).

You are responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share, and only share what you are comfortable being visible to the Sessions Connect community.

7. The Exchange and member dealings

The Exchange lets members list and find products and services. Sessions is not a party to any deal between members. Any agreement, payment, shipment, guest spot, collaboration, or roommate arrangement is strictly between the members involved. We do not verify listings and we are not responsible for the conduct of members or the quality, safety, or legality of anything offered. Use your own judgment and deal at your own risk.

8. Suppliers

If you set up a supplier profile, you are responsible for the accuracy of your business and product information and for honoring anything you offer to members.

9. Our intellectual property

The Sessions Connect app, the Sessions name, logo, branding, and the design and software behind the app belong to Sessions Education, LLC. You may not copy, modify, or reuse them without our permission.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, misuse invites, or act in a way that harms the community or the app. Some provisions, like content licenses already granted to other members and the limitation of liability below, survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

Sessions Connect is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise the app will always be available, error-free, or secure, and we make no guarantees about other members or anything offered through the app.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sessions Education, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, member dealings, or content posted by others. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to cover and hold Sessions harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising from your use of the app, your content, your dealings with other members, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may ask you to accept the new version inside the app before continuing.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Sessions Connect is an invite-only app for tattoo artists and industry suppliers.

Who can use Sessions Connect

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sessions Connect. The app is built for working professionals in the tattoo industry, and access is by invitation only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account and profile details: your name, email address, Instagram handle, location, profile photo, bio, specialties, and the badges or availability settings you choose (for example, "Open to Guest Spots" or "Open to Collabs").

  • Supplier details: if you set up a supplier profile, the business name, product categories, and other listing information you provide.

  • Content you post: Transmissions, comments, photos and images you upload, Exchange listings, Guest Spot and Convention details, and any other content you create.

  • Messages: direct messages you send to other members, including roommate-matching conversations for Conventions.

  • Invite information: the invite code you used to join, and codes you generate or share.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data: how you interact with the app, such as screens you view, features you use, and actions you take.

  • Device and log data: device type, operating system, app version, and basic technical logs used to keep the app running and secure.

Information from Sessions events

If you attended a Sessions event, we may connect your app account to your attendee record (for example, to confirm invite eligibility). This can include the name and email you registered with.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account and verify invite eligibility.

  • Show your profile, posts, listings, and availability to other members as the app is designed to do.

  • Operate core features: Transmissions, Exchange, Guest Spots, Conventions, direct messages, and supplier profiles.

  • Send you account, security, and service messages.

  • Keep the app secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our rules.

  • Improve the app and understand how features are used.

  • Comply with the law.

What other members can see

Sessions Connect is a community app, so some of what you provide is visible to other members by design. This generally includes your profile, photos, Transmissions, comments, Exchange listings, supplier details, and availability badges. Direct messages are visible to the people in that conversation.

Browsing is open to members, but posting and creating listings requires a complete profile. Treat anything you post as visible to the wider Sessions Connect community.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • With other members, as described above and as the app's features require.

  • With service providers who help us run the app, including our backend and database host (Supabase), our image and file storage provider (Cloudflare), and the platform the app is distributed through (the Apple App Store). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

  • For legal reasons, if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Sessions, our members, or others.

  • In a business transfer, if Sessions is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the app. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep some of it to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Your choices and rights

  • Edit your info: you can update most of your profile and content directly in the app.

  • Delete your account: you can request account deletion in the app or by contacting us. Some content you shared with others (like comments or messages) may remain visible to those recipients.

  • Access and deletion requests: depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, or limit certain uses. To make a request, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Residents of states such as California, and users in other regions with data protection laws, may have additional rights. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including the security practices of our hosting and storage providers. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may ask you to accept the new version inside the app before continuing.
